The 30th International Conference on Arabidopsis Research (ICAR2019) was held in Wuhan, China from June 16 to 20. Approx. 800 attendees joined the conference and progresses and achievements in the research areas of environmental stress response, plant-microbe interaction, etc. were presented. The Multinational Arabidopsis Steering Committee (MASC) meeting took place at the conference venue to discuss the recent trends of Arabidopsis research. The host countries of future ICAR were also discussed to decide that ICAR2022 will be held in Japan. ICAR2020 is held in Seattle, USA from July 6 to 10 in next year.
