Approximately 1,000 scientists attended the conference, and studies such as epigenetic regulation and plant-microbe interaction were reported. In addition, a workshop on the establishment of Arabidopsis Information Portal (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/fullscreen\/araport\/2015-summer-araport-project-overview-leaflet\/1\">Araport<\/a>) was held in the conference.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabidopsisresearch.org\/index.php\/en\/\">The Multinational Arabidopsis Steering Committee (MASC)<\/a> meeting was held during the conference to deepen international collaboration on plant research.\u00a0Operation and management of MASC as well as future ICAR venues were discussed.
